Questions

Why can't Shapo import reviews from Shopify directly?

Your product and store reviews are kept by the review app you installed, not by Shopify, so Shapo imports from that app. Paste your store URL and Shapo works out which one it is.

My store has two review apps installed. Which one is used?

Shapo lists every review app it finds on your store and you pick the one to import from. You can import from the other one as a second source later.

My review app is not on the list. What can I do?

Most review apps can export your reviews as a CSV file. Import that file into Shapo with the CSV source and map the columns once.

I build Shopify apps. Can I import my App Store reviews?

Yes, that is a separate source. Use the Shopify app reviews integration with your apps.shopify.com listing URL.

Does it work on a headless Shopify store?

Often, yes. If your storefront does not load the review app's script, Shapo cannot see it from the URL, so open the app's own source in Shapo and paste its ID instead. Each app page explains which ID to use.
