Questions
Do I need an Ali Reviews API key?
No. Your store URL is enough. Shapo looks up your myshopify.com domain and reads the reviews your store already shows.
Does this include reviews I imported from AliExpress or Amazon?
Yes. Shapo imports what your store shows, and that includes reviews you brought into Ali Reviews from AliExpress or Amazon. Those were written by the supplier's buyers, not your own customers, so pick the reviews you import with that in mind.
Is Kudosi the same app?
Yes. Ali Reviews was renamed Kudosi. Stores that installed it under either name work the same way.
Does Shapo change anything in my Ali Reviews account?
No. Shapo only reads reviews that are already public on your store. Nothing is written back to Ali Reviews, and your storefront widgets keep working as they do now.
How do new reviews get to my widget?
Turn on auto-sync when you import, and new reviews from Ali Reviews that match your filters are added to Shapo automatically. Auto-sync, and importing up to 1,000 reviews at once, are on the Pro plan.
Where can I show the widget?
Anywhere you can paste a snippet of HTML: Shopify pages, WordPress, Webflow, Wix, Squarespace and most landing page builders. You can also put your reviews on a hosted Wall of Love page.
