Import your store reviews with nothing but your store URL

Online stores rarely keep their reviews on the store platform itself. On Shopify they live in a review app, and on WooCommerce they sit in each product's reviews tab, often collected by a plugin. Store owners kept pasting their shop's address into our Shopify app source, which only reads Shopify App Store listings, and until now the way in was a CSV export.
Shapo now imports them directly from five new sources: WooCommerce, Okendo, Yotpo, Loox and Ali Reviews. You paste your store's address. There is no API key to create and nothing to install on your store.

WooCommerce
Shapo reads the product reviews your store already publishes, newest first, through the same Store API WooCommerce's block themes use. Reviews collected by Customer Reviews for WooCommerce and ReviewX come along, because both plugins save them as regular WooCommerce reviews. When a store copies one review onto every colour or size of a product, Shapo imports it once. More about the WooCommerce import.
Shopify review apps
Okendo, Yotpo, Loox and Ali Reviews each have their own source, and each reads the reviews the app shows on your storefront, store reviews and product reviews together. Also in this update
- Yelp reviews are now fetched newest first, so auto-sync picks up every new Yelp review instead of whichever ones Yelp ranks highest.
- Reviewer photos from Yotpo and Ali Reviews are now stored by Shapo instead of loaded from the app, and so are reviewer photos brought in with an import of up to 1,000 reviews. They keep showing even if the source changes or removes them.
Availability
The new sources are available on every plan. Auto-sync, which adds new reviews every 24 hours, and importing up to 1,000 reviews at once are on the Pro plan.
