Start with the reviews you already collect
Most WooCommerce stores already have reviews, in WooCommerce itself or in a review service. Import them into Shapo and keep new ones coming in.
Etsy, G2, Facebook and the rest of Shapo's 30+ review sources can share the same widget.See every integration.
How to add a review widget to WooCommerce
WooCommerce runs on WordPress, so the free Shapo plugin adds the widget like any other block, and the embed code works anywhere WordPress accepts HTML.
- 1
Import your reviews
In Shapo, add a source and paste your store URL, or pick Google, Trustpilot or any other review site.
- 2
Design the widget
Choose a grid, carousel, list or badge, pick the reviews to show and match your store's colours and font.
- 3
Open the editor
In WordPress, edit the page or product where the reviews should go. With a block theme, templates that every product shares are under Appearance, then Editor.
- 4
Add it and update
Install the free Shapo plugin from Plugins, Add New, connect your store, and add the Shapo block or element. Or add a Custom HTML block, paste the widget code and click Update.

Put reviews where shoppers decide
A review next to the Add to cart button does more than one in a tab shoppers have to open. Use one widget across the store, or build one per product and per category.
- A carousel on your home page
- Product pages that show that product's reviews, filtered by tag
- A Wall of Love page to link from your menu and emails
- Landing pages and ads outside WordPress, with the same reviews

Ask for new reviews after every order
Add your Shapo collection form link to the Completed order email in WooCommerce, under Settings, Emails. Reviews written there land in Shapo, ready for your widgets, and can be tagged by product with a dropdown on the form.
- Written and video reviews
- Custom questions, including which product they bought
- Review Booster links for Google and Trustpilot

Questions
Do I need to install a plugin?
No, but it is the easiest way. The free Shapo plugin from the WordPress plugin directory connects your store in one click and adds a Shapo block, a shortcode and elements for Elementor and other page builders, so you pick a widget by name. Without it, a Shapo widget is a short embed code: paste it into a Custom HTML block in the WordPress editor, or the HTML widget in Elementor, and update the page.
Can I import the reviews my store already has?
Yes. Choose the WooCommerce source and paste your store URL. Shapo imports your product reviews, including the ones collected by Customer Reviews for WooCommerce and ReviewX, without an API key.
Can each product page show its own reviews?
Yes. Tag reviews by product when you import them or afterwards, and make a widget that shows only that tag. Paste that widget into the product's description with a Custom HTML block.
Will the widget slow down my store?
The embed script loads asynchronously and the widget renders in its own frame, so your page draws first and the reviews appear right after.
Can I get star ratings in Google search results?
Shapo can add review schema for the reviews your widget shows, which is what Google reads for review stars. Whether Google shows the stars is up to Google.
How much does it cost?
The free plan keeps up to 10 testimonials with unlimited widgets and forms. Pro is $29 a month for unlimited imports, auto-sync with your review sources and no Shapo branding.
