Questions
Do I need a Clutch API key or admin access?
No. Shapo reads the reviews on your public Clutch profile, so the profile URL is all it needs. It looks like clutch.co/profile/your-company.
Why do some reviews show as Anonymous?
Clutch lets a client hide their name. Shapo imports the name exactly as your profile shows it, along with the reviewer's job title and type of company, so an anonymous review still says who it came from.
How are Clutch ratings converted?
Clutch scores each review out of 5 with one decimal. Shapo rounds that to the nearest whole star, so a 4.5 shows as five stars and a 4.4 as four.
Does Shapo change anything on Clutch?
No. Shapo only reads reviews that are already public on your profile. Nothing is written back to Clutch.
How do new reviews get to my widget?
Turn on auto-sync when you import, and new Clutch reviews that match your filters are added to Shapo automatically. Auto-sync, and importing up to 1,000 reviews at once, are on the Pro plan.
Where can I show the widget?
Anywhere you can paste a snippet of HTML: WordPress, Webflow, Framer, Wix and most landing page builders. You can also put your reviews on a hosted Wall of Love page and link it from proposals.
