Is the Wall of Love free?
Yes, on every plan, including the free one. The Pro plan removes the Shapo branding, adds the load more button and lets you connect your own domain.
Can I put it on my own domain?
On Pro, yes. Connect any subdomain you own, such as reviews.yourcompany.com, from the Wall of Love editor. You add a TXT record to prove the domain is yours and a CNAME to send visitors to Shapo. The HTTPS certificate is issued and renewed for you. Root domains (yourcompany.com on its own) cannot be connected, because DNS does not allow a CNAME at the root.
Where do the reviews come from?
Import them from Google, Trustpilot, Facebook, Capterra, G2, Yelp, Amazon, Etsy, the App Store and more than twenty other sources, collect them with a Shapo form, or add them by hand. Auto-sync keeps the connected sources up to date.
Will search engines index the page?
On the Pro plan, yes, with your own title and description. On your own domain it is indexed as part of your site. Pages on the free plan are marked noindex.
How many reviews can it show?
Up to 500 per page, sorted newest, oldest, by rating or at random. Filter by tag, source, minimum rating, or show only reviews with photos or video.
